The challenge

What we did

Eight priority themes

  • Problem identified: Weak enforcement of bike and scooter laws

  • Aim: Reduce the presence of unattended/ abandoned ebikes

  • Proposed action/commitment:

    1. The City of Melbourne should clarify with Lime Bikes the allowable time bikes and scooters may be left unattended.

    2. Remove blue cylinders currently lying around the streets to improve pedestrian safety.
