Shaping Connections has undergone a facelift with a new look and feel for its flagship website.
We are proud to launch our new website which showcases our involvement with researchers, industry and the community to highlight technological challenges and opportunities faced by older adults.
The new site is easier to navigate, is engaging and provides much more information about what we do! It will continue to grow and evolve so please join our community to stay up to date with the Shaping Connections team.
In the meantime, take a look around and see the impact the team have had in breaking down barriers and giving older adults a voice.
You will see opportunities to engage with the team to workshop ways to better understand this audience and their technological challenges.
There is also straight forward navigation to free resources including our popular interactive tools. These tools have been created through a detailed ethnographic research methodology which is a key skill the team bring to table, and you can read more about this methodology through our project work and publications.
And of course this blog is a new addition and will hopefully provide you with more insight into this area of research, opportunities to connect, and provide you with a greater understanding of how technology can be a double edged sword for older adults.
